At Chittenden, we are proud to have our own in-house claims department. We can analyze your claims experience, identifying areas of concern and then address those areas and make recommendations to help prevent future losses and in turn, lower your insurance costs.

Once a claim is reported, the management of that claim is critical. In the case of a workers compensation claim, proper and expedient management of that claim can be the difference between a minor claim with little lost time and a major claim with extensive lost time. In the event of a liability claim, effective initial claims management can be the difference between quick inexpensive settlement and attorney involvement with a large settlement.

If you wish to personally handle a claim and to better assist you, the following carriers have 24 hour direct claim reporting services available. Prior to calling, please have your policy number and claim details available for the claims adjuster. The insurance carrier will forward a copy of your claim report to our office.
