Perhaps, on a personal level we’ve known you for years. We became friends. Trusted friends. Maybe even one of your friends introduced you to one of us. Odds are we knew you before you ever considered protecting yourself, your family, your business or your worldly possessions.

Our philosophy of relationships is founded on the premise of friendship. Your relationship with The Chittenden Group doesn’t begin at the point of sale. It begins with getting to know you. We want to know your needs and your plans for your future health and financial well being. What are your priorities and what are your wants? Are we a match? Only then can we intelligently provide you with the protection or advice that you willingly receive from a trusted friend.

We want to take care of you through thick or thin, helping you to tend to your evolving life and your ever changing business. After all, the only thing constant is change.

Friends are there when you need them. Some friends stay in constant contact with you while some friends can pick up right where you left off a year ago like it was yesterday. We’re a little bit of both.

We care about you. Without you, we would not exist. William Chittenden, Sr. our founder, opened the doors to The Chittenden Insurance Agency in 1928 with that in mind. It is true to this day and never forgotten.
